The controversy over the huge white lines crisscrossing the skies for the past 10 years has reached global proportions. Individuals, groups, organizations, the media and some governments are asking for explanations as to what exactly is going on.  The evidence has been coming from all corners of the world and can no longer be ignored, dismissed out-of-hand nor relegated to the conspiracy files.  In order to understand the scope of this subject, open-minded debate must take place.  Many questions have been asked and millions of people are looking for answers.  We will take a look at this issue in a series of articles that will help to shed some light on what’s going on, why it’s going on, who’s doing it and what effects it may have on us and the environment.

One of the first questions that need to be asked and answered is what is the difference between chemtrails and contrails.  According to Thomas Schlattes, a meteorologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, a contrail is a vapor trail that can only form at temperatures below negative -76 degrees Fahrenheit and at humidity levels of 70 percent or more at high altitudes.  Even in ideal conditions a jet contrail only lasts no more than 30 minutes.  Contrails come from a jet engine’s exhaust, which is around 1000 degrees Fahrenheit and freezes into ice crystals which soon melt hence they don’t stay visible very long.  The US Air Force has defined contrails as forming above 33,000 feet when hot engine exhaust momentarily condenses ice crystals into pencil-thin vapor trails that quickly vanish like the wake behind a boat.  This is entirely different then the huge white lines that linger for hours, spreading out across the sky and turning into wispy, whitish grey, unnatural looking clouds.  Chemtrails are identified by the varying patterns of X’s, tic-tac-toe like patterns, parallel and cross-hatched lines. The lines can be seen as one long line from horizon to horizon (which covers hundreds of miles) or as many shorter lines of varying lengths.  The planes that are doing the spraying are mostly white with no markings or have red/orange markings.  The planes fly in tight formations that are too close to conform to FAA regulations.  Some days there are so many lines in the sky from all different directions, one has to wonder why there are so many in the sky at the same time. There is no doubt as to the difference between the two in the minds of those who have spent years watching and photographing  the skies, gathering and sharing information, compiling data and test results and asking for official responses.

The following quotes, news reports, comments and excerpts of articles from various sources will help to illustrate the growing concern and attention being paid to this subject and will help those who have not been paying attention.  USA TODAY 2001:  “This is blatant.  This is in your face,” says Philip Marie Sr., a retired nuclear quality engineer from Bartlett, N. H., who says the sky above his quiet town is often crisscrossed with “spray” trails.  “No one will address it,” he says.  “Everyone stonewalls this thing.”  

Quote from James Reany Jr., “Here in Arizona, we are having a drought and have been experiencing the same for many years.  Chemtrails almost always appear when a weather front is on the horizon.  I have personally observed how chemtrails are attracted to cloud formations and dissolve clouds that might have gathered and produced rain.  This takes the patience of observing for long periods of time while the trails interact with clouds.”

Diana Reed, a producer for the local Miami FOX affiliate TV station WSVN, did a story about chemtrails a few years ago.  She had just done an investigation and story about the US governments testing of the effects of their exposing unknowing people to radiation, diseases, and biological weapons and was just as upset about the cover up of the chemtrail issue.  She asked for people from South Florida, including, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Broward County and Palm Beach to send in photos, videos and comments for her story which was run on the air. Jack McLamb, a highly decorated Phoenix police officer, publishes the Aid & Abet Police and Military Newsletter that has been out for over 20 years.  He recently ran a story on Chemtrails and said, “Some of our peers in the military, that have already asked questions, have been told:  keep this quiet, but the American people have been subjected to bio-warfare and we (the government) are healing them without their knowledge.”

Former six year board member of Greenpeace Germany, Monika Griefan chaired the Committee for Culture and Media of the Federal German Parliament when she replied to a letter from two chemtrail dissenters in July 2004.  She said, “I am in basic agreement with your concerns about experiments of various kinds that are being carried out in the earth’s atmosphere….I share your concern over the use of aluminum and barium compounds which have considerable toxic potential.”  A German science magazine recently stated, “In the skies of Germany, Social Democratic member of Parliament Monika Griefahn tells us, aluminum and barium compounds are being spread just as tens of thousand of concerned citizens have observed, documented and bitterly deplored….But the public outcry in Europe will have to spread to North America if we are to stop this massive, illegal and continuing air and atmospheric pollution.” 

The following excerpts come from a letter written by Deputy of PA.SO.K.,  of Corinthia Greece.  The letter is addressed to the ministers of Transport and Communications, Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works, and Health and Social Security of the government of Greece.  The subject line reads:  Concern in the community of Corinthia about the phenomenon of “chemtrails.”  The letter starts out with, “Alarm and concern have been aroused in the local community at the appearance in our area of the notorious chemtrails………According to investigations by hundreds of scientists, journalists and concerned citizens throughout the world these lines are caused by emissions of chemical substances, such as aluminum oxide and barium, two extremely toxic substances dangerous to human health.....Official data on whether such spraying is really taking place in Greece airspace has not been made available by the Government…..It is however an important question to ascertain the reasons for this spraying…..as its existence has been linked to various experiments whose purpose (according to scientific studies) is either control of the greenhouse phenomenon or even climate modification with a view to creating mass weapons……documented answers must be provided.”

In the spring of 1998 in Espanola, Ontario, residents began complaining of “severe headaches, chronic joint pain, dizziness, sudden extreme fatigue, acute asthma attacks and feverless ‘flu-like’ symptoms".  This occurred over a 50 square mile area which coincided with months of spraying by photo-identified US Air Force tankers.  In 1999, 550 citizens brought a petition before the Canadian Parliament asking the government to stop the spraying.  One of the witnesses in the case was a former provincial police officer who reported the numerous sightings of chemtrails.  On April 28, 1997, Cuba filed a complaint before the United Nations General Assembly charging the US with spraying biological warfare agents over Cuban soil.  Cuba has been unable to have the matter investigated by the UN, but the US has been unable to have the matter dropped.  Both of these incidents were reported by Mark Metcalf in his book, Chemtrails of the World.

These examples are just the tip of the iceberg of what’s been reported in books, articles, websites, government documents and other media, throughout the world for the last decade.  When this many people from various cultures, careers and fields have brought this subject out into the open, maybe it’s time the rest of us start paying attention.  In the next article of this series we will examine government documents, studies and websites that prove the existence of weather modification, weather warfare, spraying programs and some of the reasons for chemtrails.

When talking to people about what’s being sprayed into the atmosphere above us, there are a variety of reactions, from a blank look, a glazed stare, or outright denial, to statements about it’s only jet vapor to that’s a conspiracy theory.  Fortunately, many are already aware and have responded favorably to this series on Chemtrails.  In this article we will show why it’s not far-fetched to believe our government is spraying toxic chemicals and further government proof that weather warfare and modification is being conducted. 

Many people don’t believe that the American government would purposely spray toxic chemicals into our skies and then lie about it.  Our country is the greatest in the world and we are not the enemy.  However, there are proven reports of government and military “events” that have taken place in this country over the last 50 to 60 years.  Here are several examples taken from an article in the Idaho Observer that have been heavily documented by the government itself.

“Cigarettes:  The cigarette industry became aware in the 1950s that the spike in lung, tracheal, and bronchial cancer was due to the fact that tobacco crops were increasingly being fertilized with chemicals that contained radioactive substances.  An internal memo from Philip Morris in 1961 acknowledged the presence of strontium-90 in tobacco.  The Surgeon General, C. Everett Koop, stated that radioactivity, rather than tar, accounts for at least 90 percent of all smoking related lung cancers.  The Center for Disease Control concluded “Americans are exposed to far more radiation from tobacco smoke than from any other source.” 

“Special Military Report No. 142:   “Biological Warfare Trails at San Francisco, California” was a series of six, open air vulnerability tests performed upon the unknowing people of this city from Sept. 20-27, 1950.  Ships filled with bacterial aerosols along with zinc cadmium sulphide florescent particles were positioned offshore and 43 sampling stations were set up onshore.  Each of the releases lasted 30 minutes and engulfed the city.  According to Andrew Goliszek, “Based on the report, nearly everyone in San Francisco inhaled 5,000 or more florescent particles each day.”  No one was ever warned and there were no post experiment monitoring of people’s health.  People died.”

“Joint Quarterly Report No. 3:  is a military report on the spraying of Minneapolis with zinc cadmium sulphide florescent particles over a 3 month period in 1953.  The people were never forewarned.  Zinc cadmium sulphide is a silvery-white electropositive metal.  It is used to test dispersal patterns.  This means it acts like an X-ray in the sky showing the routes that sprayed particles take when dispersing.  Repeated exposure to lower levels of cadmium in air has resulted in chronic poisoning characterized by irreversible lung injury of the emphysematous type with abnormal lung function.”

“Joint Quarterly Report No. 4:  describes “The Spraying of St. Louis” with the same metal over a 3 month period in 1953.” 

“Utah:  We know by their own reports that the military has dropped nerve agent VX out of jets over Utah, actually over half a million pounds over an 18 year period (1951-1968).  Once again, the people were not informed.”

“Hawaii:  In 1965, Operation Big Tom involved the spraying of bacillus globigii over Oahu during a 2 month period.  No civilians were informed; no one’s health was monitored.  For 3 months in 1966, the Air Force dropped bomblets filled with benzilic acid, a mind-altering chemical, into the Waiakea Forest Reserve southwest of Hilo, Hawaii.  No one was warned.”

“Hanford:  During the cold war, the US government, in an effort to test it’s newly installed radiation detectors, deliberately released radioactive material from the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in southeast Washington State.  This experiment, on December 2, 1949, was considered a disaster.  The meteorologists miscalculated the weather, specifically the winds, on the day of the releases.  The intensity of the release, coupled with very strong winds, created a drift pattern 40 miles wide and 200 miles long, exposing all in that plume to 400 times the amount of radiation considered safe.  No one was warned.”

“Canada:  The US military tested Agent Orange at Gagetown for 3 days in 1966 and for 4 days in 1967.  According to the report, as reported by The Montreal Gazette Aug. 22, 2007, “Only individuals who had direct contact with herbicides at CFB Gagetown in New Brunswick are at risk of contracting a number of diseases associated with exposure, including various cancers, Parkinson’s disease and Type 2 diabetes.”

“During the summer of 1994, US military aircraft began dropping a gel substance on the tiny town of Oakville near the Pacific coast.  Everybody in town came down with flu and pneumonia-like symptoms.  Some people were hospitalized and remained ill for months.  Pets and barnyard animals died.  The police chief was patrolling the town one morning at 3 am when a deluge of sticky stuff coated the windshield of his patrol car.  He cleaned the goo with rubber gloves but just breathing it made him deathly ill.  The gel was tested by a number of government and private labs which found human blood cells and nasty bacteria, including a modified version of pseudomonas fluorescens, cited in over 160 military papers as experimental biowarfare bacteria.  Unsolved Mysteries aired the story on national television in May, 1997.”

“In 1997, in Southern Idaho near the town of Caldwell, 7 healthy people died in their sleep when their lungs collapsed.  All were in perfect health.  An article in the Arizona Republic noted that people had suspicions that officials might be covering something up.  Two years later and eye-witness report was filed about a dark fibrous material falling on Caldwell homes, cars and lawns shortly before the mysterious deaths occurred.  Residents said the material look like feces.”

“During numerous chemtrail spray episodes, the small town of Sallisaw in eastern Oklahoma was saturated with a web-like material in which lab techs discovered unusually large enterobacteria.  The critter was a mutant of E. coli, salmonella and anthrax; undoubtedly one of the military’s designer bugs.  Resident Patrick Edgar has reported on the internet that the entire town was made extremely ill by the spraying and the town now has epidemic rates of both lupus and cancer.”

“Using both electrostatic precipitation devices and HEPA air filters to collect outdoor atmospheric samples, chemtrail researcher Clifford Carnicom and his associates have documented desiccated blood cells floating in the atmosphere in both New Mexico and Colorado.”

There are literally hundreds of these “events” in evidence that can be found in military, government and health documents.  The fact that the military conducted over 140 nuclear tests in this country in the 1940’s and 50’s is well documented.  This information should point out that indeed, our government is capable of poisoning us, without our knowledge or consent.  Taking into consideration the government reports put out about weather manipulation and warfare, it should no longer be a surprise that we are being inundated with toxic chemicals.  If further evidence is needed, read on.

In the Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming: Mitigation, Adaptation, and the Science Bases conclusion, the N.A.S. found that the most effective global warming mitigation turned out to be the spraying of reflective aerosol compounds into the atmosphere utilizing commercial, military and private aircraft.  This preferred mitigation method is designed to create a global atmospheric shield which would increase the planet’s reflectivity using compounds of aluminum and barium oxides, and to introduce ozone generating chemicals into the atmosphere.  This method is the most cost effective and yielded the largest benefits.  It could also be conducted covertly to avoid the burdens of environmental protection and regulatory entanglements.  Placing a screen in the atmosphere or low earth orbit could take several forms: it could involve changing the quantity or character of cloud cover, it could take the form of a continuous sheet, or it could be divided into many “mirrors” or a cloud of dust. 

Regardless of whether or not we believe the government could be harming us, the evidence is in the skies.  Just start watching.  Look up everyday and notice what goes on around you.  It won’t take long to see that in a state that used to have weeks of clear blue skies, we seldom have a clear day, absent of any clouds at all.  Watch and see the planes spraying then do your own research.
